Roman 5: The Character of Hope… and other things

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;  perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

Every thing has a character and hope speaks through character. Things you do yourself, never trust others with it. Things that you must do yourself because no one can do it. A times comes when you can carry out no longer, and you consign your faith in the care of hope.

Without doing, can you hope? Without performing can you hope? Even when nothing’s left, left are hopes. That’s the true character of hope. It is undying.

Every word and every speech that’s preached has left others to act upon it and carry out. As a writer, and when writing is my only power, I write the words in which I can put my faith and hopes. I put my strength in it, my dedication, and my good will.

Christianity have known narrow streets through out the history. We have preached the word of God, told people to find the best in themselves and rise above their other beliefs, accept the hand of hope that comes to them from the sky, and join the league of light workers.

Those lines from Roman 5, tells us how to be sticks and stones because we are bricks and stones. Bricks because we are backed by harshness of time and rules that shouldn’t belong here, and stones because it is the part that’s solid already, needs no baking, it is already part of us. Sometimes you don’t know how good you are at something until a calling calls you to perform upon it.

It is forever, the fact about the nascent nature of innovation. Today’s calculator’s are tomorrows computers, today’s foundation is tomorrow’s building, and today’s idea is tomorrow’s manifestation.

These times are different, the Christian world is sometimes out of faith. But our troubles could of mean more if that wasn’t the case with followers of other scriptures. Duties bind duties to people. Don’t look at others what they are doing, look at yourself what you are doing.

Don’t ask what Christianity has done for you, ask what you can do for Christianity because faith is tomorrow’s reward. Christianity has however given me so much that I don’t feel tired. From every piece of good music, I’ve heard songs of Church. The knowledge in all the science books help me piece together the big picture of faith. So how can I not be thankful, dutiful?

A faith that I just found turns out to be all mine, in faith the ownership of duty, opens ways for you that how to do your duty. Words that may not sound appealing this minutes sometimes save us by the end of the day. Occupied mind prevents us from experiences that are made for us.

That’s the end of the journey of motivation in this article, now let’s begin the journey of exploration. Motivation by the way, is always an intense journey, you can always be carried away by words. Now let’s get lighter and feel some awesome lightheartedness.

How many countries are there in the world? For a politician, there are 195 countries in the world, but only 47 of them developed so far, ask a faith follower there 4200 countries, but less than 10 are prevalent on earth.

So has Christianity grown old among the 4200 countries? Than older the better, more experienced. Sometimes, when I am motivating other Christians, I am also finding motivation for myself in it as well. At the other times, just doing my duty.

There are all kinds of duties, but duty of faith now I realize holds a higher weight-age. “How do you know that your scripture came from God?” I read somewhere, and what an amazing question. I don’t have the answer, but I will keep asking and I’ll find it. Our faith, our knowledge has grown out of testimonies and that’s how it has become stronger.

Too much details is too much evidence to give right, if there was enough, the world would have been Christian. Our faith however, roots from belief that everyone is already a Christian, some people just don’t know it yet. Generations pass away without knowing the truth and find another corner of hope.

So yeah, it is a good question, how do you know your scripture is from God, might as well be from the devil and you might not know it. A perfect question to divide people of faith or bring them together to join their heads on it.

Trying to put light on this question, if I’ll make up my mind, preset that I want to convince you, then I’ll be the first person that will be deprived from the most honest and accurate answer. So let’s put Bible under scrutiny first.

“In the beginning, God created heaven and earth.” Faith has been journey of discovery from the very beginning, to answer the question of our origins. Who was there in the beginning to testify the creation of the universe right? If no one was there, then how we are got to this point? Are so many people in the world nothing but idiots?

Faith has always been a journey of discovery. Testament comes from the heart of other people. Why do so many people thing that it is right, to believe in God? Why so many people fall for it and keep falling for it?

We know our scripture is from God because it advises to live a good life away from mischief. God didn’t created us to destroy each other but to help grow each other. Why two genders? So they can come together to create more life, and bring up the children in their image.

Most of those not Christian opposes the idea that God did not created us in his image. Look at the societies all around us. Children literally grow up to pick up the sentiments and culture in the image of the society. If the child is Hindu, it is created in the image of Hindi parents, Hinduism. Grows up to learn and follow the ways of the surroundings, every body loves to dance in their own local-ism. The child generation is created (brought up) in the image of parent generation. Duckling comes out of egg, follows the way of the duck by imitating the duck.

We are all the manners and characters of society that it inherits to us, we are all brought up in the image of our civilizations and definitions of civility that’s poured upon us. We are all created in the image of traditions we know. We are all created in the image of our parents. Like the father like the son. Like the mother like the son. Like the parents, like the children.

My conviction that Bible came from God is not based on the fact that Christianity becoming stronger every day, but from the fact many Christians are leaving their faith too. It is a good thing, Christianity has always been a great donor of people to other faith. It only proves that this faith somehow compels people to seek more than they know.

A faith that’s not donating to other faiths only means it never had the potential to grow. If faith is a shell then chicks must be able to break out of it, that’s what makes it a natural shell. Put an iron coating around the shell, it will only make it artificial. So what kind of potential your faith gives you means a lot. I mean, I broke of Islam, but the credit goes to Islam for keeping that potential. People will never agree, but the spirit of Islam made a great sacrifice. You don’t go ask people for it because what good is their wit while I’m still stuck with the old identity on my identity card, ask the desert and desert will give testimony. I’m not going to waste the rest of my life chasing after people and so Christianity can be rewarded to me on my identity card as a sweet candy. No. I’ll pick the journey of spirit and make amends from there.

I sincerely believe in faith freedom for the sake of all the faiths. So in future, when people of faith make their faith too much strict, people will simply just leave it and find the resolve of the rest of their spiritual journey in another faith. (The other option being founding a new religion altogether and do the process all over again. Nope. We are tired. Revive the old roots, the main one so the rest can be revived.) God can be found in all the faith so it won’t matter how much clergies will chatter, and when things of spirit are not bound by mental chains, I’ll be a go-getter.

Getting back to how do you know your scripture… I still don’t know. I just know the flow. It’s fluent, it’s ardent. We know scriptures are holy because they’ve always attempted to revive people, take the nations to the top.

Again, how do you know that… alright, we don’t. When faiths came, their founders were always dumbfounded by the information they received. Interestingly, that’s not so in the story of Jesus. He simply cropped up with full faith, went to the desert to play with doubts, and back up.

When people relieved faith, they did not know it was from God, it was from God, was rather a discovery. Isn’t everything in life isn’t? Let’s change the words. How do you know if your scripture was just a discovery. Way better. No God included, the man gets the credit for innovation.

Bible came from God is based on the premise that no idea that we ever know is ever new. Ideas don’t live in the world, we live in the world of ideas. But you have to be an idea to know that it is actually how it works. So Jesus wasn’t new, he was already there. At times it has taken the right mind, at times it has taken the right womb.

Getting lost is easy, getting found is not. Without music, life’s a journey through the desert, and living in the Muslim world, I felt like music is missing in the mosque, it is their tradition, but I can’t imagine myself going to a house of prayer where there’s no musical instrument to play. Not even allowed. Women can’t go there that’s understandable, but I can’t go where a guitar can’t go.

Music revives memories, helps you fluctuate your emotions so you can discover yourself at whole new other level. When people ask me why did you quit Islam, I frankly have no answer because they feel betrayed. So I say, it is because of the attraction. It is a complete answer. I might as well say, it is because of the music.

How do you know your scripture came… because Christianity thrived well. It is still thriving, evolving, around One God it is revolving. If it did not came from God, why it is revolving around God? When Muslims revolve around Kaaba I understand their expression, it implies revolving around a secret that’s veils, hidden, well kept and well protected. The Secret of God.

Alright, so do Christians have such traditions? This is what I love about Christianity, Christians left the tradition, became informal, loose and relaxed, instead of faith, focused on science. Made cartoons of Jesus, laughed with him, cried with him, but never allowed him to get too much over their heads. You never get in trouble by saying anything ill about Jesus, unless Christians start doing that now and completely fuck up their faith.

How do you know your scripture came from… there’s a lot of time to answer that question and time will give the best answer to that question. Time is the ultimate truth-teller.
