Keep Your Mind Awake

Keep your mind awake,
How much long is it gonna take,
How much can the bullshit possibly bake,
So keep your senses together for God sake.

The world was never this much noise,
And looking outwards we always have a choice,
How much of we do is really forgiven given,
This is modern world, that’s how it’s driven.

How much can one alienate from life’s mystery,
Here we come into the world and now we’re history,
These complexities surely look like a tapestry,
So take solace in your simple life, his ministry.

Are we going to ask ourselves ever what went wrong,
Twelve apostles of time, twelve month strong,
Are we guided by nature or the will to evolve,
Some come to live this life, some come to solve.

In all this chaos, isn’t faith a sweet thing,
Yes, perhaps remembering God is a neat thing,
The learning has stopped so what is education,
If there was someone to recieve congratulation,
For what can we truly appreciate in these times,
So known for our sins, so known for our crimes.

Thank God, there’s a word “reason” to find solace,
When nothing makes sense, it serves some grace,
Gotta ask questions, gotta feel this way,
Hallelujah has been the only awesome to this day.

Then we were people hoping bright and now we need caring,
You’ve only the God of Christ to know in your declaring,
On the brink of everything, where will you get a lift,
Thank you, o spirit of character, for words are a gift.

Dear God, why the rush, why enchanting is being smarter,
If traveling is our niche, write it on eternity’s charter,
Civilizations gone, histories of world behind your making,
The human sacrifice of lamb and with you his undertaking.

Never let the world go so gloomy that music is gone,
Even when quiet, something’s evolving in the zone,
Had there been only one language, there’d be no need of faith,
Who needs temples, we just need expressions together in easy math,
The divisive forces, the tyrants, and the adamant error,
And all the your love can’t fix will be fixed with your terror.

What a punishment it is to be lost in the hell,
I’ve been there one too many times so I can tell,
Hell follows trajectory of our mistakes, undoing us,
The soul is badly ripped apart, so good is knowing plus.

The tower of God, the beacon, and where it is located,
I think of other thoughts knowing how the last thought has waited,
Loving science is my sin, forgive me o master, let it grow,
Let science be religion’s curse, all the errors let it throw.

How truth is augmented in reality cause reality feels all,
Where’s humanity gotta run, cause this reality is so small,
And all the echoes of prayers circling in your orbit,
Sometimes praying in is the charm that actions forbid.

I know it is not in our worship, but in our seeking,
And once in a while, this deja vu, this kind of tweaking,
Bless the Christans, only they know the value of going on,
I understand why life’s gotta be short after knowing long.

Forgive them, they do not know the price of knowing eternity,
When thoughts of stars is all you’ve as friends and fraternity,
Every good person in this world is family of oath, lock it down,
Those who have courage to wear it, let them try, wear the crown.

And look now and then upon us, time feels like the only messiah,
But the time, time we’ve is not ours and time is the biggest pariah,
What to investigate in a home of faith, all’s been known and said,
Bodies are only waiting to find truth, in their grave to get laid,

Only when upclose your world is alarming, who lived to know it is,
So late when you wake up to the world, you don’t ask what this is,
Take all my virtues, give it away to the future messengers of reason,
God they do not know things they say, when with the words they treason.

Looking for an identity when my status is with you, through it all,
Let the freedom of faith become absolute, I pray, let it fall,
Or dissolve faith into science, for future carries wires too,
Can’t grasp all this architecture, already the future admire you.

What can I possibly teach, all I can say is to know the feeling,
God is truth, God is hope, when there’s no roof, God is the ceiling.
