Merit solves all the problems that DRAP equations present. Including what changes need to be made. A truly working economic model is one in which both poor and rich are capable. When benefits only go to those ruling, then no amount of taxes paid by people ever fills the belly of the rulers.
There are cultures where it is taught, God will create more resources so you keep creating children. Those folks have no interest in DRAP and no, all the flat-earthers are not concentrated in west world. All faiths have their goods teachings and acquired infliction.
Science believes in facts and numbers, things visible to eyes and senses.
Not to have children at all? I don’t know. I can’t give a pessimist theory, doesn’t matter how much attractive, a vote of good conscious.
Not to have children in places where it is more challenging. Completely makes sense. It is true, awareness today is the best cure to future problems without cure.
If the world couldn’t end in three hundred and change years from now, humanity will go on forever until all the stars in the universe are filled. Reversing the population certainly make sense. Resources will still be there, but with less of us, there will be less competition.
It is a clear mindset. A theory of numbers that bound to speak up in one way or another. Humans are growing at exponential rate while the resources are growing at geometrical rate, where do we hope to end up without taking the necessary measures.
Children are responsibility and the one which require great care and dedication. Human reproduction without resource growth is putting any society in financial stresses without necessity.
Preferring safe sex to children can be an act of selflessness, but some ideas will be too good for societies too optimistic of God, living lives too pessimistically.
Simply follow the statistics of child labor, it openly speaks of social successes of a system and its future potential.
