In seeking love

If you know thy faith do not envy, if you know thy way do not doubt, if you know thy error do not repeat, if you know thy love do not cheat, if you know thy heart, if you know thy heart…

… take your praying heart to solitude, and let it sing and pray. When your solitude begs you to pray, call upon the spirits of your ancestors, do so without names, so the entire history of prayers may follow you, and you can pray with your whole heart.

But solitude is not just about God or your mind, your personal or social life. Solitude is about your secret thoughts, what makes you you. It is your reset button, your recharging station and your safest retreat from the fear of getting lost. To whom it is, solitude is a gift.

It is not just the skin we are in but the skin we make in our minds, out of what we believe, understand and identity with as our identities that divides us. The skin that we wear out of our status, urges, egos, cast and creed and wear it without knowing it. Like inherited color of our skin, the inherited colors of our beliefs do not let us see better. Reliance on God is the best thing to do. We all in some way fail to fully do it. So the reliance is in kindness, easy and lovable to have, a little difficult to give. None the less, desirable to have it in your heart.

Learn from the sinners and the pious, for the bright side dwells in all of you and all of us. In seeking love, we are always one.
