Deep fakes and beef cakes

What am I if not a person of science? Every curious mind must ask itself. Since the dawn of science, its good and evils have been brought to us. With nuclear weapons being most catastrophic artifact of human ambition as on the positive side, nuclear reactors electrify many cities. Artificial Intelligence, it’s a gray area, and with every innovation, we put our hopes for the best.

You know, when all these scientists are working on such ambitions, they clearly have a choice. Follow their ambitions, earn for themselves a name or do not go down the road that’s not safe. It’s a dilemma. Decisions not necessarily good or bad, but in truth a great test of human resolve. I mean how quick or slow you are to take a decision when considering something that could task human beings on a completely different road. I can related, but anyway.

So deep fakes. New in the market, not very convincing but in time they could be. Good thing is as the thieves become better the police develop better tools to catch them. Viruses plague the internet, but programming heroes are constantly upgrading as well, and creating better antiviruses.

So while the fear of deep fakes is authentic, there will always be that clever team to know the real from fake. Deep fakes only got slammed on the bad note because of their potential misuse in the future. Otherwise, watching old painting come to life, that Harry Potter’s imagination coming to animation, making good old memories to speak… it can fun.

Alright, check out this video, see what you like. There’s so much beef on the internet about deep fakes, realism demands that we be aware of technologies that are eventually going to affect our lives.
